PEARL RIVER MART
CONTENT CREATOR & PRODUCER
[OCT 2016 - FEB 2018]
Pearl River Mart was co-founded in 1977 and is now a prominent Asian-American mom-and-pop establishment with branches in New York City's Tribeca and Chelsea Market.
Since the store's first re-opening in November 2016, I have worked on various projects and roles, taking initiative in their social/digital media campaign strategies including their Chelsea Market grand opening and content creation.
Tribeca Grand Re-Opening (2016)
As a producer for Pearl River Mart's 2016 Tribeca Grand Re-Opening, my responsibilities included creating a detailed run-of-show, looking into and reaching out to potential performers, establishing contacts with prominent NYC & Asian-American news outlets to further bolster publicity, finding and leading a team of brand-ambassadors, and overlooking day-of video/media production.
Chelsea Market Grand Opening (2017)
In December 2017, PRM opened its second flagship store in Chelsea Market. As a co-producer, I took on a similar production role with a stronger emphasis on pre-event marketing and media. Working closely with the client to meet their needs, we facilitated and coordinated a plan of action to bring together many of NYC's prominent Asian-American figureheads, politicians, and influencers, and dazzled them with an evening of food and entertainment.
Furthermore, as the media lead, my responsibilities included coordinating all pre-event and day-of media production. This meant leading a team of photographers and videographers to create the assets for the event and to capture photos and video the day of. My responsibilities also included collecting and editing the final deliverable assets to the client, including a recap video to live on their website.
