JAPANESE CULTURAL ASSOICATION
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
[MAY 2014 - JAN 2017]
The Japanese Cultural Association is an organization with roots in the New York University community that promotes and celebrates Japanese culture and art. Founded in May of 2014, the association has hosted 40 events and recruited 100+ members with a total attendance of 10K+.
As the Founder and President of this organization, I oversaw every aspect of the Association’s growth - from its inception to the execution of its most successful events such as Sakura Matsuri and Explore The East.
JCA has now established itself the New York Asian-American community and continues to maintain its status as an organization that promotes cross-cultural understanding.
