In order to Celebrate Pride Month, my team and I created a technology-based brand experience that demonstrates Jack Daniel's commitment to the LGBTQ community by producing the world's first projection mapping showtruck, titled "Flavors of Pride".
This was a first-of-its-kind activation that honors the modern LGBTQ experience through Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails product line. This showtruck was unveiled at the 2018 LA Pride Festival, a two-day LGBTQ pride celebration that reaches a nationwide audience and attracts 170K+ attendees.
Brand ambassadors engaged with festivalgoers to have their pictures taken and sequenced into the project mapping show. The faces were captured through a proprietary app and integrated into the content.
'Flavors of Pride'-branded merchandise (e.g., apparel, buttons, sunscreen) were produced and distributed to guests.
The truck contained the multimedia art installation with a show running every three minutes. Brand ambassadors continued incorporating spectators' faces into the content in real time.
