In order to promote Verizon's 8GB for $50 prepaid offer, our agency proposed a nation-wide freestyle competition that will generate a large social media buzz. Working alongside 300 Entertainment's music mogul Kevin Liles and mega producer London on da Track, our agency team activated two highly successful competitions, cooridnated and lead the event with represnetatives from Verizon, Samsung, 300 Ent., and other PR based agnecies.
The #freestyle50 challenge was a nation-wide competition to challenge up-and-coming artists a platform to showcase their skills virally and pursue hip-hop stardom through social media. With the launch party for both 2016 and 2017 being hosted by our agency in New York, eight MCs was be chosen amongst hundreds to battle it out for $10,000 and a single record deal with 300 Entertainment. ----and with notable artists such as Migos, Tee Grizzly, Busta Rhymes, and more.
Since October of 2016, I have worked in various capacities in the production of all four Freestyle 50 events.
